Her real life? Well, she lives with a child (her daughter) who refuses to acknowledge her mother, by refusing and barring her from the party. Her husband is in the process of a divorce, upset at her too. The world's greatest love stories.

What's the world's greatest?

Double Heart

The world's greatest love stories.

Romeo and Juliet

As soon as the book arrives within your possession, whether you’re studying it at School, or owning a copy in another way, everybody knows, that a very special experience lies ahead. Romeo and Juliet is one of the world’s most famous stories, and is at the top of the hierachy of books and stories, sharing the top spot with fairy tales like Cinderella, or even modern bestsellers such as Harry Potter.

Reading the greatest Shakespearean play is one of the most important days of everyone’s life, it’s a book or play that brings everyone to the same subject area: tragic love, romance, drama, and death. The play, which is sometimes, classed as a Tragedy, ends in a devastating way, as ‘two star-crossed lovers take their life’. So, experience tells us that any tragedy is not a love story, so why is the most famous Shakespearean play classed as a love story?

Well, both lovers are undeterred by their warring families, who are keen to keep both apart. They seem to feel that love conquers all, and maybe their stance, on this subject, turns the tragedy itself, into a great love story. Fear takes second stage to love, which liberates both lovers, even from fearing death, as both ultimately take their own lives. In this, it creates a world of possibilities, within our own minds eye, and invites us to think of the tragedy, as a love story too, despite it’s heartbreaking end.

So why is the play classed by so many across the world, as the greatest or best love story in the world, or the best story? Well, first of all, it probably would be the care and attention, and detail William Shakespeare puts into his choice of words, and metaphor. Describing Romeo and Juliet as a pair of star-crossed lovers, adds atmosphere, and drama to the play, and a sense of fate, making things unforgettable, and leaving readers and audiences entranced and starry eyed.

The two lead characters, and protagonists of the play, leave their lives to other people, almost like giving in to their wants, and in essence losing out themselves, in order to please others. This isn’t good, and is not love, but tragedy.

The two lovers, have a great synastry, and awe inspiring love, that reaches the heavens. As their love develops within the play, it coincides with audience and reader anticipation, and also increases with their age, as both are young lovers, and go through teenage life, to death, with the reader.

Best part?: Romeo, Romeo, where four art thou Romeo?

There he discovers the history of the tempestuous events that took place years before: the intense passion between the foundling Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, her betrayal of him and the bitter vengeance he now wreaks on the innocent heirs of the past.

MANSFIELD PARK

JANE AUSTEN

Adultery is not a typical Jane Austen theme, but when it disturbs the relatively peaceful household at Mansfield Park, it has quite unexpected results.

The diffident and much put-upon heroine Fanny Price has to struggle to cope with the results, re-examining her own feelings while enduring the cheerful amorality, old-fashioned indifference and priggish disapproval of those around her.

MANSFIELD PARK

JANE AUSTEN

Edmund and Fanny. When Edmund, a high class socialite, and son of a powerful slave trader finds out his meek cousin Fanny is secretly in love with him, he does nothing but hesitate, before he reacts. That’s the secret of this book. Despite many encounters at Mansfield Park, Fanny who has set her sights very highly, contains, and holds back her love for Edmund. However, on the other side, Edmund, her rich distant cousin, wouldn’t even dream of considering Fanny as an adequate match, let alone be interested in her in that way. When his own ‘lover’ finds out Fanny is interested in Edmund, she does nothing but laugh. She finds the entire ‘episode’ hilarious, and can’t think of anyone less suitable. In her wildest dreams, she wouldn’t suspect Fanny’s ulterior motive, but even funnier was her ‘success rate’ at thinking she stood a chance with the high class Edmund.

BOOK WORMS ARE OFTEN SHY. HERE'S A VALENTINE'S DAY GUIDE TO GETTING THROUGH VALENTINES DAY

Shyness can affect bookworms. Here's what to know...

Hand Drawn Heart

Valentine's Day for shy people, can be hard.

With couples spending billions on the big day, and more and more people getting married, Valentine's Day maybe the worst day for the shy and broken-hearted.

If you’ve always had your eyes on someone, or think someone is your soulmate then sending them a book as a Valentine’s day gift is key. It is the best time of year to show your feelings to someone you have feelings for, is an extremely romantic way of showing your affection and you will share the experience with thousands of other couples, who are in the same predicament. There are so many choices in Valentine’s Day books in the stores and you can easily make your own online, too. Custom made picture, or photo books all have audio and a complimentary video as an essential, and the other ideas for, your Valentine are limitless too, depending on your imagination and how much you want to spend. Some crazy women even go as far as creating a personal book as an additional token of their affection and their love. Sending them a notebook is one thing, but writing an entire novel means you are serious.

Maybe you are in angst about how you feel, and see someone at work everyday? You may want to tell them how you feel, as you want to know how they feel too? Maybe they are someone you have an eye on for a very long time, and about to start a relationship with someone else, before they leave, you may want to tell him how you feel, and ask them to consider thinking about you as a potential love interest? It may be a good idea, if they are about to start a relationship to send them a Valentine’s Day card before they get in too deep. Maybe it’s already deep and that upsets you more, sending a Valentine’s card, or gift like a book, during a deep relationship is not a good idea, but if your feelings are ardent too, then sending someone a Valentine’s Day gift, in book form, and hearing a definite no, maybe the hint or clear message you need? In rare cases it maybe that the feelings conveyed through this relationship were actually for you. It’s maybe worth a try.

In rare cases it maybe that the feelings conveyed through this relationship were actually for you. It’s maybe worth a try.

Sending someone a simple Valentine’s Day card could be a precursor to future events, like you telling them how you feel? Many women want to do this, as feel expressing their feelings is important, whether he likes you back or not. It is important to express feelings of love for many women, and cheap not to tell them as your feelings were from the truest part of your heart. You may need to demonstrate how you feel to that person, and talk to them face to face. Love sometimes doesn’t die down until you tell that person that you care about them deeply and wish it was you. They may not realize it at the time, especially if they are already in a relationship, but it may be something they appreciate later on when the dust has settled. In rare cases they may leave their partner and turn to you, so if they are in a big relationship you should tread carefully, do you really want this, sometimes writing their names in ink with a short message can clarify things for you. Whatever happens sending someone a Valentine’s Day card, or gift, when you know they are attached, is a bit like adultery, so you should think carefully before you ruin someone’s paradise.

Too shy? You have a better time with people’s judgements, with people gushing over your every move. If you finally come to the end of avoiding the issue, and can’t contain your feelings anymore, and that ‘special person’ is single too, then maybe it’s time to open up and send them a Valentine’s Day card? I’m sure you have checked, and checked, and checked every single possibility and outcome, and probably wouldn’t make a mess of it, the way most people do who simply rush into things. You can discreetly order Valentine’s Day cards, or gifts online, or even make one online too, with you own personal message if normal Valentine’s Day cards or gifts are too obvious, too contrived or simply made for people already in a relationship. You can even create a gift with a secret message which only he would understand. Just create the gift, take as long as you want, and when the time comes to pay for the gift online quickly press the button and forget about it! Many companies have a section where they ask if you would like to send the card to a certain address, that’s your cue, and simply close your eyes and press yes! A card can arrive on Valentine’s Day at his address, and if he is interested he will find you.

That’s a great idea! Maybe you are at your desk or at home, thinking how wonderful an idea that is! Shy people often radiate huge interest in people’s hearts, and guess what, I want to do that too! Shy people often attract the esteem and high regard of many, and those people may feel like joining you. It’s a great ice-breaker and talking point with friends, can engage your attention for what seems like an entire age, and is good fun for many, and a great way to relax and laugh with a potential partner, who ‘knows you are shy too’.

Valentine’s Day is an extremely important day, and if you feel you are in a hopeless situation and the person you admire may not feel the same you can rest assured that they probably won’t ever forget the day, a Valentine’s Day card arrived. If anything it’s a great laugh and if he/she is not interested there are always a thousand and one jokes that are on cue for hopeless romantics who get it wrong, from people who are already happily married or in a relationship. They might also surprise you and be slightly flattered or happier with you, as that person, didn’t know you cared.

Valentine’s Day cards, or gifts like romantic books, in this respect can help you find out if they like you, and is an excellent way of expressing your emotions as well as a perfect opportunity for them to think about how you feel with a thousand cover-ups. Remember men feel shy too, not just Women, and it’s a perfect set-up for considering your affections, and is the best time of year to tell him how you feel.

What's the most romantic thing you have ever read?

Romeo and Juliet: William Shakespeare

‘Did my heart love until now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne’er saw beauty till this night’.

Upon seeing Juliet at a ball, Romeo, the young lover, falls in love with Juliet. The power of the words are in understanding, that Romeo, is young, and so is Juliet, and what they are experiencing is a form of teen love. Everybody understands how they both must be feeling, or at least how Romeo feels. When he asks if his heart loves until now, he may be acknowledging that he has never felt love like this, and other crushes were pale in comparison. ‘For swear it sight’, only reminds us of love at first sight, and of all of the lines in Romeo and Juliet, this has to be the most memorable and awe-inspiring. For many readers, it is one of the most beautiful moments of the play, highlighting the beautiful verses that continue throughout this scene, between both Romeo and Juliet, and leaving people in anticipation of the real meaning.

CINDERELLA. An adaptation of a classic fairy tale.

Sunshine Mirza

What does every girl dream about? A world where Cinderella wins, and diamonds and gems rule the lands? Sunshine Mirza's debut title Cinderella. An adaptation of a classic fairy tale is everything girly, whilst also being a fleeting love story, subtle, discreet and upright. The ugly sisters and stepmother on the other hand, are anything but insipidly stupid, oath like and disgusting, Their daily requests of asking Cinderella to present them a French Fancy on a plate whilst they glare at her, was just one of the hilarious ways the author spoofs these abominable characters, and re-creates the world's most famous and adored fairy-tale. The book surfaces the problems in an all-female environment, where jealousy and envy is the normality, and is also everyday, and plotting to spoil your big day is on everyone's mind. Cinderella's parents one day pass away, leaving her to be chaperoned by the evil step-mother and the two ugly sisters. They quickly snatch-away her dresses, rings and jewels, and lastly her home. They force her to live as a slave-girl in her own home, until of course the 'big day comes' when you can go to the ball. On the night of the ball, they leave poor Cinderella behind, until she is visited by a beautiful fairy godmother who transports Cinderella magically to the Grand Ball underneath the Stars. Entranced, she sets her eyes on 'the man of her dreams', until she stumbles out of the ball at midnight, dropping her beautiful crystal heel. The ugly stepsisters hear of this 'special night' and plot to fool him when he looks for the perfect fit. They had no idea, that the perfect fit would be, of all people, Cinderella.
